Joining Forces With Peterborough’s Hawk AV
Peterborough’s own Hawk Audio Visual (sort of our parent company for those that know us) are getting ready for a busy May, which means our April is busy preparing for the shows, so we’ve been editing video, working on animations, set visualisations and conference videos for J.D Williams, Coloplast, Thomas Cook, BGL and, gasp, The Manchester United Players Awards…. plus several RBS jobs alongside Storm Events.
Have been working alongside the excellent Kev Edwards at Nevis Images and look forwards to seeing Jason Torbitt of Steadi Facilities again at some forthcoming shows.
This is all great, but hasn’t improved the weather much
Been busy with work for BGL, Coloplast and RBS. We have also been working on a series of staff updates for Thomas Cook, filming senior members of staff for quick turnaround to be delivered on the Thomas Cook intranet. All shot on an AF101 with a set of Nikon prime lenses.
New Website for Peterborough Video Specialist id-8
We are very pleased to announce the launch of our fantastic new id-8 website. Along with a new look we have included some exciting features that we hope will make visiting the site a quicker, easier and more interactive experience. We’ve added a regularly updated news section and an easy to navigate video portfolio section to keep you informed of the large range of video production and editing projects we are involved with. Remember, being located in Peterborough means we are never far away from anywhere and with London just 50 minutes away on the train, we are supremely accessible from practically anywhere in the UK.
On location filming has also started straightaway by working alongside Hawk AV at this year’s Oxford Farming Conference. The entire conference (produced by Hawk Audio Visual) was captured and published onto the OFC website.
4 cameramen were used, with several HPX-500′s and an AF101 with some primes for interviews and reportage footage. We set up a small interview area with a set of softlights for some branded interviews.
All the sessions were filmed, edited and synchronised with the PowerPoint presentation (using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6), and made available for the OFC, the next morning. Hawk were presenting the system on a very wide screen using an Eventix, so id8 also had to animate so 2560 pixel wide animations using some photographs provide by the OFC. The animation was produced in After Effects.
All the footage was also sent down into a separate press room and made available to all the media agencies such as BBC’s Countryfile.
As usual the conference was busy and well attended and we look forward to the conference in 2014!
