This was a huge project undertaken by id8 in 2001. Frontline (the distribtion arm of BBC, EMAP and Haymarket magazines wanted somthing different for their end of year show, which is attended by all employee's before the evening's party. The brief was to communicate the companies achievements through the year whilst entertaining the staff.

id8 hit upon the idea of FLTV, in which Frontline had purchased a small local cable TV channel, and the staff were present at the filming of the 'Good Afternoon with Richard & Julie'. All the directors took part appearing as food, health, fitness and fashion experts. These experts communicated their departments achievements with their tongue firmly in their cheek.

Two local actors were hired to play Richard & Julie, id8 provided the script, directed the actors and produced all the filmed material, whilst the show was produced by Hawk Audiovisual. The show was an immense success, so much so that next year's follow up The Fafta's was an even more complex show!
